Líbano's Dani Tajid got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, New England Patriots's Samuca Prata seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Samuca Prata the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of New England Patriots protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Samuca Prata had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to New England Patriots getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Samuca Prata hit a great ball. When Líbano's Muhannad Ajram in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdomiro Nunes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amadeu Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fatih Adas having to interfere. Claudinho Aparecido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Fatih Adas made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Carlos Souza during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, New England Patriots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Dani Tajid sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdomiro Nunes skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Muhannad Ajram managed to get in a good position for a shot. Líbano's supporters rose to their feet, but Muhannad Ajram was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdomiro Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the game, Muhannad Ajram cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Valdomiro Nunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute of the match Dani Tajid shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdomiro Nunes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valdomiro Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kareem Dajaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Valdomiro Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kareem Dajaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdomiro Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kareem Dajaj in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Líbano's Muhannad Ajram dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Líbano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New England Patriots.
