Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ramiro Bertassi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ramiro Bertassi took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berat Arslangiray. Berat Arslangiray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 8 minutes, Agah Özal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senator S.A.K and the Santo Amaro AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agah Özal in the 11th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Ramiro Bertassi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Berat Arslangiray. After 23 minutes, Doriva Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santo Amaro AC and the Senator S.A.K players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Santo Amaro AC's Doriva Andrade got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 32nd minute, Sandro Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juninho Valadares came free in the 37th minute and tried to tip the ball over Berat Arslangiray, but to the joy of Senator S.A.K's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. In the 42nd match minute, Santo Amaro AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Agah Özal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eusébio Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agah Özal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Santo Amaro AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oğuzalp Beytekin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Türker Ülger almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque did a great save. In the 56th match minute, Santo Amaro AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Sandro Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berat Arslangiray. Senator S.A.K's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Yahya Yaltıray fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Senator S.A.K's protests and gave Yahya Yaltıray a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Senator S.A.K got a freekick which was hit by Yahya Yaltıray. Berat Arslangiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandro Barreto struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Berat Arslangiray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santo Amaro AC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Barreto got free with Berat Arslangiray in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the game, Fabiano Gaspar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Berat Arslangiray. Fabiano Gaspar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Berat Arslangiray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandro Barreto in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute, Ramiro Bertassi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With an all-out effort, Santo Amaro AC's Berat Arslangiray threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ramiro Bertassi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Senator S.A.K's zone, Ramiro Bertassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berat Arslangiray came out of the goal and Ramiro Bertassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Santo Amaro AC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Senator S.A.K throughout the match.
