Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdomiro Pires started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Muhannad Ajram's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusébio Albuquerque was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Eusébio Albuquerque, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eusébio Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhannad Ajram in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Líbano booed when Santo Amaro AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Muhannad Ajram reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eusébio Albuquerque. The goal made the score 1-0. After some careless play in the Líbano defense, Fabiano Gaspar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fatih Adas. The Líbano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fatih Adas should have stopped the shot. Santo Amaro AC's Valdomiro Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuri Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Eusébio Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muhannad Ajram. Borhan Ruwaid's late challenge caught a Santo Amaro AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Borhan Ruwaid helped the player get up and apologised. Borhan Ruwaid kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Líbano's Fatih Adas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Pires in the 42nd minute of play. Ricardo Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Eusébio Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhannad Ajram, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Muhannad Ajram stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdomiro Pires in the 53rd minute of play forced Líbano's goalkeeper Fatih Adas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhannad Ajram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Yuri Veloso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fatih Adas, passed just outside the right post. Borhan Ruwaid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Líbano's Muhannad Ajram in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santo Amaro AC's goalie prevented a goal. After 83rd play minutes Muhannad Ajram shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Eusébio Albuquerque and just under the crossbar into goal. 86 minutes into the game, Valdomiro Pires recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fatih Adas. Valdomiro Pires showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. When Valdomiro Pires fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santo Amaro AC's protests and gave Valdomiro Pires a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Santo Amaro AC's Valdomiro Pires got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
