The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Angelo Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Nelson Vidal hit a great ball. Oscar Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel Trancoso in the 9th minute of play. Maicon Massa hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dieguinho Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Pinho in the 15th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Jereba 4EVER's goalkeeper Dieguinho Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kléber Queirós. Kléber Queirós succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 24th playminute. 32 minutes into the game, Richard Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Squadra Demarchi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jereba 4EVER the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Squadra Demarchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Moura to maneuver through the defense. Manoel Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Oscar Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Jereba 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by André Berger. When Geovani Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jereba 4EVER's protests and gave Geovani Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. Geovani Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Jereba 4EVER's goalkeeper Dieguinho Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kléber Queirós. In the 46th minute, Geovani Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manoel Trancoso to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manoel Trancoso. In the 54th minute, Angelo Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jereba 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 65th minute, Squadra Demarchi's Sérgio Batista seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sérgio Batista the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Squadra Demarchi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sérgio Batista had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 66th minute, Sérgio Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jereba 4EVER's Dieguinho Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Pinho in the 68th minute of play. If Angelo Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber Queirós hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Squadra Demarchi from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Squadra Demarchi booed when Jereba 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dieguinho Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After taking down the ball on Squadra Demarchi's corner Ciro Castro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dieguinho Viana quite easily take care of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Jereba 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Queirós came free, but Dieguinho Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manoel Trancoso in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kléber Queirós during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kléber Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Dieguinho Viana had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Paulinho Paraibano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dino Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Oscar Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Jereba 4EVER supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jereba 4EVER would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
