Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Squadra Demarchi from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Blomqvist in the 5th minute of play forced Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Josef Blomqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oscar Saldanha, 1-0. Claudinho Pinho struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Lars-Erik Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Squadra Demarchi. The crowd rose to their feet as Warberg FC's Josef Blomqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oscar Saldanha. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. In the 18th minute, Josef Blomqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Squadra Demarchi's Ciro Castro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ulrik Kruuse in the 25 minute of the game. Lars-Erik Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton Montenegro in the 26th minute of the match. Sérgio Batista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lars-Erik Pettersson. Warberg FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Squadra Demarchi's Ciro Castro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ulrik Kruuse, made in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Aírton Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Lars-Erik Pettersson. Warberg FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Lars-Erik Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Bergman in the 41st minute of play forced Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Montenegro. Claudinho Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Josef Blomqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Squadra Demarchi's Ciro Castro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ulrik Kruuse, made in the 56th minute of the game. Warberg FC's Lars-Erik Pettersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Montenegro in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Squadra Demarchi booed when Warberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Rune Rydelius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulrik Kruuse got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Allan Uggla. Claudinho Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lars-Erik Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Claudinho Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Squadra Demarchi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudinho Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lars-Erik Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Claudinho Pinho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lars-Erik Pettersson. Claudinho Pinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Aírton Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Pettersson having to interfere. Lars-Erik Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Júnior Meirelles hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Josef Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Staffan Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
