Squadra Demarchi's Ciro Castro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jacky Streels, made in the 13th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Aírton Montenegro sped through Kickers United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anthonio Van Bets. Claudinho Pinho got in the 16th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anthonio Van Bets handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Stijn Dheedene made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Squadra Demarchi's Ciro Castro. Anthonio Van Bets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Loyola in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Claudinho Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Squadra Demarchi and the Kickers United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Pinho. After 31 minutes, Jamie Lembrechts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kickers United and the Squadra Demarchi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Claudinho Pinho hit a great ball. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Kickers United's Evert Tilens. But to his dismay, Evert Tilens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Anthonio Van Bets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Pinho in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Pinho to strike the kick off in the second half. Squadra Demarchi were furious when Claudinho Loyola was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Squadra Demarchi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kickers United:s goal. In the 54th minute, Frans Moerman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Stijn Dheedene in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Squadra Demarchi's Ciro Castro. After 65 minutes of play, Squadra Demarchi's Claudinho Pinho made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthonio Van Bets was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Júnior Meirelles fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Squadra Demarchi's protests and gave Júnior Meirelles a yellow card for diving instead. Paulinho Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Jacky Streels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Kickers United's Oscar Saldanha threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evert Tilens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrez Marichal in the 87th minute of the match. Squadra Demarchi's attentive Ciro Castro managed to snatch the ball when Stijn Dheedene made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. After 90 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Simon Cheepers. When Aírton Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Squadra Demarchi's protests and gave Aírton Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. Aírton Montenegro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Stijn Dheedene kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
