Brian Izaga started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Magallanes's Fulco Spöerer got a free kick in the 6th minute. Magallanes's Isidro Camara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Tino in the 10th minute of play. Serafino Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Camara having to interfere. The supporters of Magallanes booed when ManagerZone Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Inzaghi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafino Tino in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Camara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to ManagerZone Academy getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Omar Belarmo hit a great ball. Gatot Sessa was a little too slow when Gonzalo Perl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. Amador Pirmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Isidro Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Academy's goalkeeper Gatot Sessa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Izaga. Alvaro Henry's late challenge caught a Magallanes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Henry helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes ManagerZone Academy got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Henry. In the 45th minute of the match Gonzalo Perl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gatot Sessa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Angelo Aracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filippo Inzaghi to strike the kick off in the second half. Antonio Mackenzie kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Serafino Tino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Isidro Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Pacull to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Magallanes's Angelo Aracena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gatot Sessa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Magallanes made a substitution. Herminio Quintero replaced Samuel Pacull. Serafino Tino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidro Camara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. When Ruben Ayala came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the ManagerZone Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Ayala couldn't finish the play. Magallanes's Isidro Camara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Tino in the 77th minute of play. Gatot Sessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Izaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Magallanes's Gonzalo Perl got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Gonzalo Perl off the ground. The supporters of ManagerZone Academy booed when Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Longa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Longa in the 84th minute of play forced ManagerZone Academy's goalkeeper Gatot Sessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goalkeeper Isidro Camara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippo Inzaghi. Gatot Sessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Mackenzie in the 89th minute of the match. ManagerZone Academy's Gatot Sessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Longa in the 91st minute of play. ManagerZone Academy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
