Ahmid Lamouroux made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Ongile in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Erdiano came free, but Ahmid Lamouroux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascual Quexal might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmid Lamouroux. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascual Quexal ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmid Lamouroux didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Ongile went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ahmid Lamouroux stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Ongile's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute La Acade were awarded a corner. Dario Franco went to the cornerflag to take it. Ben Floquet kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Acade's zone, Paul-Émile Caillaud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Arlo came out of the goal and Paul-Émile Caillaud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ladislao Ongile's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ahmid Lamouroux firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to La Acade getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Pascual Quexal hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steven Lebreton to strike the kick off in the second half. Silverio Arlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moïse Pilot, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Pascual Quexal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ahmid Lamouroux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Moïse Pilot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Lebreton hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Quexal in the 77th minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Ahmid Lamouroux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Paul-Émile Caillaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Arlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmid Lamouroux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Paul-Émile Caillaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The La Acade support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
