Spectators: 7623 (Terracing: 5718, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Östen Bennet started the match with the kick off. When Magallanes's Brian Izaga in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BENA FK's goalie prevented a goal. Dan Forsman didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Magallanes's Brian Izaga shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 14th minute Östen Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Camara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes, Brian Izaga made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. BENA FK's Dan Forsman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Pål Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isidro Camara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Östen Bennet went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Emilio Formoso hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Torbjörn Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Izaga did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-1 to the left of a surprised Dan Forsman 40 minutes into the match. With a little luck, BENA FK's Dan Forsman got control of the ball when Brian Izaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Izaga to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Izaga in the 54th minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Dan Forsman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by BENA FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonzalo Perl was slow to take the kick. During this time Magallanes's players had a chance to rest. 65 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Izaga came free, but Dan Forsman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Formoso during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emilio Formoso hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Magallanes made a substitution. Herminio Quintero replaced Samuel Pacull. Magallanes made a substitution. Baldomero Gamboa replaced Romeo Morel. After 76 played minutes Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Formoso. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Erling Sundström got a free kick in the 77th minute. Elias Longa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Brian Izaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Forsman was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Östen Bennet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Perl in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Forsman saved BENA FK from getting behind. The supporters of Magallanes booed when BENA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Brian Izaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. When the referee ended the match the Magallanes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
