Dan Forsman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of BENA FK booed when Cosa nostra Lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moussa Therond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leif Hellström kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Joey Costa came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by BENA FK's Östen Bennet. But to his dismay, Östen Bennet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When BENA FK's Pål Klintæus in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cosa nostra Lyon's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Cosa nostra Lyon getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Brice Idoux hit a great ball. A collision led to BENA FK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Villiam Hultman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in BENA FK's zone, Nelson Singer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Forsman came out of the goal and Nelson Singer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosa nostra Lyon's Joey Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Bennet in the 32nd minute of play. If Steven Lebreton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute, Joël Delamare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Östen Bennet was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Östen Bennet got free with Joey Costa in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Nelson Singer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Forsman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Lebreton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Joël Delamare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Forsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Lebreton in the 72nd minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Dan Forsman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Erik Rosin. After a defensive mix-up in Cosa nostra Lyon's zone, Östen Bennet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joey Costa came out of the goal and Östen Bennet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joël Delamare's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Forsman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Lebreton came free, but Dan Forsman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
