In the 12th minute, German Etxeberri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Evis lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Salmuera CP:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Road To Glory:s goal. The referee gave Road To Glory a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Justino Raulo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Salmuera CP's Anibal Fidencio. 0-1. In the 25th minute of the match, Jose Maidana tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomás Calixto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 27th minute of the match Salmuera CP got a corner. Road To Glory's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Gorbea ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jorge Presebal scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anibal Fidencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Presebal in the 34th minute of play forced Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Anibal Fidencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Calixto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Maidana in the 36th minute of the match. Tomás Calixto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Maidana's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Road To Glory were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Paskal to strike the kick off in the second half. Road To Glory's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Presebal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Fidencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the game, Jonathan Beltran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. The audience was convinced that Jose Maidana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Calixto was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Atilano Medardo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match.
