Xurupita FC's Léo Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Xurupita FC from getting a goal against them. Xurupita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fierce the free kick. Antônio Carlos Linhares hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fierce's Jolan Grosjean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Paraíba in the 42nd minute of play. Eliseu Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Jolan Grosjean came out of the goal and Eliseu Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Fierce supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Xurupita FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Xurupita FC.
