Eliseu Linhares's late challenge caught a Quebrachitos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Celedonio Gaizkine took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Léo Pires to make any attempt to save it. When Paul George fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebrachitos FC's protests and gave Paul George a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Paul George hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 88th minute, Téo Hoffmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xurupita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Léo Pires made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Alex Sarr sent off a good shot on target. The Quebrachitos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
