In the 9th minute Federico Crispo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belmiro Paraíba during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Belmiro Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Pastor Benat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. Josué da Mata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Xurupita FC's zone, Pastor Benat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué da Mata came out of the goal and Pastor Benat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Errando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Xeneizes getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Hermengildo Palben hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Eliseu Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xurupita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Errando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Xeneizes's Federico Crispo in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xurupita FC's goalie prevented a goal. Giovanni Furtado's late challenge caught a Xeneizes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After 41 played minutes, Xeneizes's Ernesto Sanduru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Josué da Mata came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xeneizes reached it. After having played for 48 minutes, Eliseu Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xurupita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Crispo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Federico Crispo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Josué da Mata saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Genaro Errando came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Xurupita FC's Eliseu Linhares. But to his dismay, Eliseu Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Josué da Mata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Sanduru in the 60th minute. Josué da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Crispo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Genaro Errando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Linhares in the 63rd minute of play. Xeneizes made a substitution. Edgardo Salomone replaced Pastor Benat. Xeneizes's Teodosio Hermon was substituted for Hermengildo Palben. Genaro Errando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Xeneizes's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Hoffmann came free, but Genaro Errando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. That made the score 1-2 after 96 minutes of play.
