When Franck Gigot fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fierce's protests and gave Franck Gigot a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Xeneizes booed when Fierce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franck Gigot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match, Franck Gigot got a very nice opportunity to score, but Genaro Errando was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Xeneizes's zone, Salomon Pélage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Errando came out of the goal and Salomon Pélage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Salomon Pélage managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fierce's supporters rose to their feet, but Salomon Pélage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Errando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Fierce defense, Ernesto Sanduru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jolan Grosjean. The Fierce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jolan Grosjean should have stopped the shot. Fierce's Jolan Grosjean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Crispo in the 27th minute of play. When Xeneizes's Federico Crispo in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fierce's goalie prevented a goal. After 29 played minutes Fierce got a freekick which was hit by Salomon Pélage. After 34 played minutes Xeneizes got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Feo. Eymeric Roux, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Ernesto Sanduru fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Franck Gigot got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Xeneizes booed when Fierce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franck Gigot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Xeneizes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Federico Crispo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Crispo in the 52nd minute of play forced Fierce's goalkeeper Jolan Grosjean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jolan Grosjean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Crispo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match Federico Crispo climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Jolan Grosjean. Fierce's Evan Saillard got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xeneizes made a substitution. Teodosio Hermon replaced Hermengildo Palben. In the 65th match minute, Xeneizes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Txanton to maneuver through the defense. Xeneizes made a substitution. Edgardo Salomone replaced Pastor Benat. Emanuel Txanton hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Federico Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Genaro Errando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evan Saillard in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Fierce booed when Xeneizes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Salomone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evan Saillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fierce's Jolan Grosjean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Crispo in the 93rd minute of play. With a little luck, Fierce's Jolan Grosjean got control of the ball when Edgardo Salomone tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Xeneizes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Xeneizes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
