Josué da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Resel, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Fabian Resel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Leal hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Fabian Resel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Meira's late challenge caught a F.C. Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Meira helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Meira. In the 31st match minute, F.C. Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Klejnowski to maneuver through the defense. Tarcisio Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Resel in the 37th minute of play forced Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Josué da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to F.C. Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ulryk Klejnowski hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. Josué da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Borowski in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Resel to make the kick off. In the 60th match minute, F.C. Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Prus to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Resel struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Josué da Mata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Sosnowiec. Fabian Resel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué da Mata having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Borowski during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Xurupita FC booed when F.C. Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Borowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the game Rony Novaes made a throw-in which Antônio Carlos Linhares played forward. Norbert Borowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Josué da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Resel got in the 88th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Josué da Mata handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The F.C. Sosnowiec players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Xurupita FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
