Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Jailson de Senna started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, Itajaí Football Club's Anselmo Madureira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Witold Matela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, FC Gdansk36's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson de Senna came free, but Witold Matela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Szymon Trzenzalski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Christiano Cearense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roch Zawadzki charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roch Zawadzki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Gdansk36 getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Roch Zawadzki hit a great ball. Jailson de Senna in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Witold Matela, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 17th match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Kanczuszewski to maneuver through the defense. Witold Matela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Hermes in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson de Senna in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Witold Matela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jailson de Senna took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Witold Matela. Witold Matela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Witold Matela made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Norberto Abreu sent off a good shot on target. FC Gdansk36's Witold Matela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson de Senna in the 36th minute of play. Danilo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witold Matela having to interfere. In the 45th minute Jailson de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witold Matela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witold Matela made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Anselmo Madureira sent off a good shot on target. Witold Matela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
FC Gdansk36's Witold Matela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson de Senna in the 52nd minute of play. William Arósio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Witold Matela. FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Witold Matela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jailson de Senna's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Norberto Abreu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itajaí Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Danilo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witold Matela having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Gdansk36's Roch Zawadzki got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Szymon Trzenzalski's late challenge caught a Itajaí Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Szymon Trzenzalski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Itajaí Football Club booed when FC Gdansk36 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szymon Trzenzalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Gdansk36 getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jakub Makowski hit a great ball. Franciszek Bury kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Witold Matela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson de Senna in the 82nd minute of play. Witold Matela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Juarês Gerber in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Gdansk36's Jakub Makowski. Witold Matela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Abreu in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of FC Gdansk36 booed when Itajaí Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Danilo Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Witold Matela. FC Gdansk36's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. There was no doubt that Itajaí Football Club were the better team. Itajaí Football Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
