AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dion Thorne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sonny Featherstone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lloyd Ellershaw's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 高瑜源 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 董文松 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Sonny Featherstone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 高瑜源 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sonny Featherstone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 高瑜源 having to make a save. 麦川乐 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 姜峰天 hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Sonny Featherstone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 姜峰天 during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When 风云竞技's 董文松 in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 44 minutes, 董文松 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 风云竞技's supporters crossed their fingers, but 董文松 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 董文松 to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of AMAZON DU DAHOMEY booed when 风云竞技 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. 董文松 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sonny Featherstone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. 高瑜源 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, 风云竞技's 高瑜源 got control of the ball when Lloyd Ellershaw tried to sneak it across the goal line. 高瑜源 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Featherstone in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Sonny Featherstone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that 董文松's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gavin Lineker was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 陆昂永 hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Jonny Astridge fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's protests and gave Jonny Astridge a yellow card for diving instead. When 董文松 came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the 风云竞技 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 董文松 couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Tony Blower got a free kick in the 85th minute. If 麦川乐 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, 董文松 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 董文松 in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavin Lineker saved AMAZON DU DAHOMEY from getting behind. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
