Bornova's Kerim Sav proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Bornova from getting a goal against them. Tião Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerim Sav showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Tião Paranaense came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kerim Sav could save by the left post. Kerim Sav came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Amílton de Toledo. But to his dismay, Amílton de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Kerim Sav came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Tião Paranaense. But to his dismay, Tião Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Vedat Arabacıoğlu lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bornova fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Kerim Sav had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Dalmo de Salles's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Çeliker Barbaros made a kick off. Claudinei Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerim Sav having to interfere. When Çeliker Barbaros came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Bornova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çeliker Barbaros couldn't finish the play. Kerim Sav took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kerim Sav came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Alfredinho Sampaio. But to his dismay, Alfredinho Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 66th minute, Amílton de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Dalmo de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerim Sav saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bornova's goalkeeper Kerim Sav, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Dalmo de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerim Sav saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Tião Paranaense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kerim Sav. Bornova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tião Paranaense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Abdullatif Siralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Erivaldo Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Tião Paranaense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kerim Sav. Bornova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tião Paranaense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmo de Salles in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kerim Sav prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erivaldo Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdullatif Siralp in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real Brasília FC - DMZ had won after a very even match.
