When Edward Piczak fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Irons Chorzów's protests and gave Edward Piczak a yellow card for diving instead. Edward Piczak hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Vassilis Mavrofridis shot from long distance in the 89th minute, but Fryderyk Kolacki was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post.
