Frutos Torrente hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The Real Brasília FC - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Alfredinho Sampaio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Real Brasília FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Fernando Sena hit a great ball. Juanito Erosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in A.D. Alcorcón's zone, Dalmo de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juanito Erosa came out of the goal and Dalmo de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Real Brasília FC - DMZ booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frutos Torrente didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Olívio Xavier came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Real Brasília FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olívio Xavier couldn't finish the play. After 38 minutes, Dalmo de Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Brasília FC - DMZ and the A.D. Alcorcón players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Dalmo de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erivaldo Freire acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raymon Paris. Juanito Erosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião Paranaense in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Argider Caminero to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Sampaio in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juanito Erosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in A.D. Alcorcón's zone, Tião Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juanito Erosa came out of the goal and Tião Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berenguer Labarra kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in A.D. Alcorcón's zone, Alfredinho Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juanito Erosa came out of the goal and Alfredinho Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredinho Sampaio got free with Juanito Erosa in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Gildo Brodel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gildo Brodel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Real Brasília FC - DMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gildo Brodel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of A.D. Raymon Paris's late challenge caught a Real Brasília FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymon Paris helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Raymon Paris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Tião Paranaense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. If Délio Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
