After 5 minutes, Vicente Artal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black StarZ and the Social y Dep. Patagonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Ruy in the 9th minute of play forced Black StarZ's goalkeeper Rolando Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Mederi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Galoer in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Black StarZ getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Anastasio Endura hit a great ball. Bartolo Bertran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolando Mederi. Black StarZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rolando Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Bermudez in the 16th minute of play. Rolando Mederi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Eusebio Marz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Social y Dep. Patagonia from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the game, Hernan Ruy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rolando Mederi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Eusebio Marz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Social y Dep. Patagonia from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Hernan Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Eusebio Marz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Social y Dep. Patagonia defense, Haroldo Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusebio Marz. The Social y Dep. Patagonia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusebio Marz should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Hernan Ruy made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Mederi. Black StarZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rolando Mederi came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Social y Dep. Patagonia's Hernan Ruy. But to his dismay, Hernan Ruy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The supporters of Social y Dep. Patagonia booed when Black StarZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Pueblo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Mederi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Isidor's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Piarres to strike the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Black StarZ's zone, Hernan Bermudez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Mederi came out of the goal and Hernan Bermudez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Black StarZ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Salvador Gonzalez hit a great ball. In the 57th match minute, Black StarZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Endura to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Mederi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bartolo Bertran. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Freddy Toli was substituted for Bartolo Bertran. In the 66th minute, Jose Isidor made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Mederi. Black StarZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Hernan Ruy took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Rolando Mederi to make any attempt to save it. Mauro Vermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Black StarZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Ruy came free, but Rolando Mederi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Black StarZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Hernan Ruy scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Mederi, making the score, 1-10. In the 95th match minute, Black StarZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Pueblo to maneuver through the defense. Social y Dep. Patagonia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
