Adriano Leite took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corder Clubley. Corder Clubley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Corder Clubley came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Breguete FC's Erivaldo Rezende. But to his dismay, Erivaldo Rezende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Corder Clubley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Luiz Gustavo Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corder Clubley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Augusto Santos in the 27th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Corder Clubley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the match, Raleigh Dale got a very nice opportunity to score, but Júlio Soares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 31 minutes into the match, José Augusto Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corder Clubley. Elderslie Magpies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Augusto Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Corder Clubley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ben Triplett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raleigh Dale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corder Clubley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Santos in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ben Triplett made a kick off. Júlio Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ben Triplett's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Rezende came free, but Corder Clubley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Corder Clubley made a huge save. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Raleigh Dale sped through Breguete FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Júlio Soares. Matías Cardoso hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Corder Clubley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Leite who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Corder Clubley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Rezende in the 81st minute of play. Corder Clubley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Gustavo Sanches showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 84 minute of play. Corder Clubley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Byron Osbiston hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Breguete FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Elderslie Magpies.
