Dumitru Mârza kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Tuan Zimmerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. ForestFire's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuan Zimmerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Boerescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dumitru Mârza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rusty Deering came out and tried to block the shot, but Dumitru Mârza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 24th minute. Stoicii's Florin Boerescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Hawthorne in the 33rd minute of play. Florin Boerescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Max Hawthorne went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Florin Boerescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Hawthorne, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tuan Zimmerman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Vintilă Crivoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Stoicii's Florin Boerescu got control of the ball when Whitney Pelletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maxim Anton struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Rusty Deering didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoicii. 65 minutes into the match, Stoicii's goal looked a bit too open when Max Hawthorne came free, but Florin Boerescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maxim Anton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuan Zimmerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Florin Boerescu made a huge save. Dumitru Mârza hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. ForestFire's Tuan Zimmerman got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vintilă Crivoi charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vintilă Crivoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florin Boerescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuan Zimmerman in the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ForestFire defense, Vintilă Crivoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rusty Deering. The ForestFire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rusty Deering should have stopped the shot. In the 94th match minute, Stoicii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Popilean to maneuver through the defense. Cary Griggs was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
