After a rather tough play, AC Civetta Notturna's Dario Cantagallo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Marcel Maroević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Grassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Maroević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Allegretti, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Anthony Di Muzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Maroević having to interfere. Zvonimir Čabo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Alvaro Zaccardi made a huge save. If Domenico Allegretti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, AC Civetta Notturna's Alvaro Zaccardi got control of the ball when Zvonimir Čabo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcel Maroević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Di Muzio in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Dalibor Vrlec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZG Hakleri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Civetta Notturna the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Di Muzio in the 46th minute of play forced ZG Hakleri's goalkeeper Marcel Maroević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

AC Civetta Notturna made a substitution. Andrea Bizzarri replaced Emiliano Puja. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Di Muzio in the 57th minute of play forced ZG Hakleri's goalkeeper Marcel Maroević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Maroević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Di Muzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Di Muzio in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Maroević prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dennis Grassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Marcel Maroević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Zvonimir Čabo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel Maroević showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Anthony Di Muzio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcel Maroević, passed just outside the right post. Marcel Maroević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Di Muzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in AC Civetta Notturna's zone, Jasmin Stepanović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Zaccardi came out of the goal and Jasmin Stepanović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalibor Vrlec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcel Maroević made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthony Di Muzio in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Di Muzio in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Maroević prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 played minutes AC Civetta Notturna got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Baresi. If Zvonimir Čabo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Jasmin Stepanović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Zaccardi. AC Civetta Notturna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jasmin Stepanović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. AC Civetta Notturna were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
