The supporters of Green Hell F.C. booed when ZG Hakleri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rade Grdanovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the ZG Hakleri defense, Apostolos Nalbantis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Maroević. The ZG Hakleri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Maroević should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Green Hell F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Isidoros Petroulis hit a great ball. Jasmin Stepanović struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Fivos Dadamis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZG Hakleri. Isidoros Petroulis charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoros Petroulis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isidoros Petroulis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A collision led to Green Hell F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Apostolos Nalbantis hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Sakis Kefalas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Green Hell F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZG Hakleri the free kick. Green Hell F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalibor Vrlec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jasmin Stepanović was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Paris Nestoriou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel Maroević was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Dalibor Vrlec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoros Petroulis hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Zvonimir Čabo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZG Hakleri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zvonimir Čabo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apostolos Nalbantis during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sakis Kefalas might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Maroević. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sakis Kefalas ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the game, Jura Zlatanović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZG Hakleri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Hell F.C. the free kick. In the 71st match minute, ZG Hakleri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jura Zlatanović to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Maroević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apostolos Nalbantis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Marcel Maroević came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Hell F.C.'s Apostolos Nalbantis. But to his dismay, Apostolos Nalbantis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Fivos Dadamis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Fivos Dadamis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zvonimir Čabo. Fivos Dadamis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasmin Stepanović in the 96th minute of the match. The Green Hell F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
