Walter Sanvicente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Sauca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Jaime Harroyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Riemannian's goalkeeper Horacio Azofra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Chaime. After having played for 10 minutes, Jesus Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Momias F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Tabby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Tabby got free with Horacio Azofra in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walter Sanvicente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Musko Solo in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Jesus Tabby dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horacio Azofra, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Las Momias F. C.'s Veronica Ortiz got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Saturnin Pabon fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riemannian's protests and gave Saturnin Pabon a yellow card for diving instead. Saturnin Pabon kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Jesus Tabby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horacio Azofra. Riemannian's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesus Tabby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 37th minute Saturnin Pabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Sanvicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Jaime Harroyo had to leave the field with a concussion. Angelo Aimar's late challenge caught a Riemannian's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Aimar helped the player get up and apologised. Aldo Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Horacio Azofra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jesus Tabby to make the kick off. Jesus Tabby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Azofra having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Aldo Chaime cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Horacio Azofra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 58 minutes, Laureano Montrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Momias F. C. and the Riemannian players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laureano Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Walter Sanvicente was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saturnin Pabon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 59 minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Las Momias F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Saturnin Pabon came free, but Walter Sanvicente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Azofra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Tabby in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnin Pabon in the 92nd minute of play forced Las Momias F. C.'s goalkeeper Walter Sanvicente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Tabby's late challenge caught a Riemannian's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Tabby helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Las Momias F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Tabby. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jesus Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Momias F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Tabby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Azofra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
