The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Halcones Azules booed when Auktsjaur IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Haglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeppe Renberg in the 21st minute of play forced Halcones Azules's goalkeeper Vicente Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Olov Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Auktsjaur IF's Mårten Gudmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Ekain in the 29th minute of play. Auktsjaur IF's Mårten Gudmundsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Auktsjaur IF from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Conrado Abajas made a precise shot to the right of Mårten Gudmundsson. Auktsjaur IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 38 minutes of play, Auktsjaur IF's Jeppe Renberg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Berdoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the game, Verner Abrahamsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Auktsjaur IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halcones Azules the free kick. After 41 played minutes Auktsjaur IF got a freekick which was hit by Verner Abrahamsson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesper Renberg during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Auktsjaur IF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jesper Renberg hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes, Halcones Azules's Horacio Ikatz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mårten Gudmundsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Halcones Azules reached it. Vicente Berdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeppe Renberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olov Larsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Mårten Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Abajas in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Jesper Renberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jeppe Renberg came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Auktsjaur IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeppe Renberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Abajas in the 64th minute of play forced Auktsjaur IF's goalkeeper Mårten Gudmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Donzel hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Auktsjaur IF's Jeppe Renberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vicente Berdoi. Vicente Berdoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Jan-Erik Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Mårten Gudmundsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Larsson in the 77th minute of play forced Halcones Azules's goalkeeper Vicente Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Auktsjaur IF's Mårten Gudmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Ekain in the 87th minute of play. Jeppe Renberg struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Vicente Berdoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auktsjaur IF. Although Halcones Azules had been in control for most of the match, Auktsjaur IF still came away with the win.
