Tomas Ekhi started the match with the kick off. Cobresal's Florinio Manzor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Cobresal from getting a goal against them. Mercurio Miquel succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Delmiro Manghy kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes, The Masters's Felix Olayo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florinio Manzor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Masters reached it. The audience was convinced that Tomas Ekhi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florinio Manzor was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. A collision led to The Masters getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Adan Otoniel hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mercurio Miquel in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Iliana saved The Masters from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Mackenzie made a kick off. Florinio Manzor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Eneko in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute Prospero Eneko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florinio Manzor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Otoniel charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Otoniel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot by Delmiro Manghy from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Rodolfo Iliana's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Florinio Manzor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Otoniel in the 65th minute of play. When Marciano Zuburu fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cobresal's protests and gave Marciano Zuburu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Marciano Zuburu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, The Masters's Herminio Oskitz got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Eneko came free, but Florinio Manzor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cobresal's Florinio Manzor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Gurutz in the 84th minute of play. The Masters were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Cobresal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix Olayo took the corner. In the 90th minute, Cobresal's Victoro Magnani seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Victoro Magnani the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cobresal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Victoro Magnani had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 89 minutes into the game, one of Cobresal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for The Masters. Felix Olayo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Florinio Manzor. 2-1. When Anibal Galoer came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the The Masters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Galoer couldn't finish the play. Axel Véjar hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
