Tomas Ekhi started the match with the kick off. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Hector Jakes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE from getting a goal against them. The supporters of CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE booed when The Masters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Osoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Hector Jakes made a huge save. After some careless play in the The Masters defense, Reynaldo Elodio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Iliana. The The Masters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Iliana should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo Elodio hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Hector Jakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Gurutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Osoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Hector Jakes made a huge save. In the 29th minute Iker Ongile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Iker Ongile rounded CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Hector Jakes made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Iker Ongile sent off a good shot on target. Hector Jakes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Osoro in the 40th minute. Iker Ongile kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to The Masters getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Adan Otoniel hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 58th minute Jonathan Osoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Ongile came free, but Hector Jakes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Ekhi in the 61st minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Hector Jakes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Jakes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iker Ongile went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute Tomas Ekhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Ekhi came free, but Hector Jakes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Osoro took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Jakes. Hector Jakes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Hector Jakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Ekhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Tomas Ekhi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Jakes. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Ekhi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 84 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Loi came free, but Hector Jakes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Hector Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Ongile in the 92nd minute of play. Hector Jakes came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by The Masters's Iker Ongile. But to his dismay, Iker Ongile quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Masters fully deserved thier win.
