After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

57 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goal looked a bit too open when Mercurio Miquel came free, but Floris Milters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Axel Véjar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. The supporters of Cobresal booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ritchie Allaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Axel Véjar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Floris Milters was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. A collision led to Winksele 2016 getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Karel-Jan Gheysen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cobresal's Victoro Magnani got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Cobresal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
