Spectators: 7543 (Terracing: 5659, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zbigniew Poreda started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Cícero Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SHADOW the free kick. After 3 played minutes Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Cícero Veiga. Adam Fikus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Falcão went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Mazza in the 11th minute of play forced SHADOW's goalkeeper Adam Fikus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SHADOW getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Zula Trochowski hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Poreda came free, but Haroldo Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalie and right to Zygmunt Okopny. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 23rd minute Marcelo Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Fikus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SHADOW getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Zbigniew Poreda hit a great ball. Adam Fikus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Falcão's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Marcelo Falcão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Fikus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, SHADOW's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Mazza came free, but Adam Fikus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Luiz Eduardo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Fikus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Falcão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adam Fikus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Falcão in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes SHADOW got a freekick which was hit by Zula Trochowski. Marcelo Falcão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adam Fikus came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelo Falcão slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 55th minute. In the 61st minute Luiz Eduardo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Fikus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SHADOW's Adam Fikus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save SHADOW from getting a goal against them. A collision led to SHADOW getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Wojciech Dobilas hit a great ball. Adam Fikus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Mazza in the 70th minute of play. Adam Fikus was a little too slow when Marcelo Falcão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-5. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Carlos Augusto Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Augusto Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Adam Fikus made a huge save. Carlos Augusto Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Marcelo Falcão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adam Fikus, 0-7. Zula Trochowski's late challenge caught a Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zula Trochowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, SHADOW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zula Trochowski to maneuver through the defense. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
