Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Irinel Grozăvescu started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Ştefan Gârniceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC Lutanu defense, Tobias Wall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ştefan Gârniceanu. The FC Lutanu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ştefan Gârniceanu should have stopped the shot. Ştefan Gârniceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Klintæus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sever Hreapcă's late challenge caught a AC Superstar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sever Hreapcă helped the player get up and apologised. When AC Superstar's Tobias Wall in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. AC Superstar's Holger Westerstrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save AC Superstar from getting a goal against them. When Filip Wassenius fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Superstar's protests and gave Filip Wassenius a yellow card for diving instead. FC Lutanu's Cosmin Argăseală was substituted for Robert Petrin. Filip Wassenius kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The FC Lutanu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AC Superstar were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Wall was the one to do the kick off. Gică Hănescu lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for AC Superstar. Sven-Olof Odeen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ştefan Gârniceanu. 0-2. Tobias Wall who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Ştefan Gârniceanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Fabian Geambașu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Westerstrand was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 81st minute, AC Superstar's David Klintæus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ştefan Gârniceanu. Ştefan Gârniceanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Klintæus in the 90th minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Ştefan Gârniceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
