The Franja Dorada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florencio Bertol should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Udalaitz in the 11th minute of play forced Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Florencio Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Sanduru hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Moises Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franja Dorada's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Napier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franja Dorada's Florencio Bertol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Franja Dorada from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute Elpidio Udalaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of EL CERVECERO F.C. booed when Franja Dorada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Napier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Bertol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Udalaitz in the 94th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
