The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Brandão during the 3rd minute. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luli Amor sped through Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Mourão. Ourente Egea made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Isac Mota sent off a good shot on target. Isac Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ourente Egea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Luli Amor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Marcos Mourão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Oihan Onis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Programayin's supporters rose to their feet, but Oihan Onis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Mourão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Éder Rios. Luli Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 34th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Morais to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Luli Lulev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luli Amor to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luli Amor in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Mourão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when Programayin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Careaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Luli Amor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Mourão was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Luli Amor did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Marcos Mourão 70 minutes into the match. Programayin's Luli Amor was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Silvano Meireles got a free kick in the 86th minute. Michael Pimentel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Programayin's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
