Juvenal Nóbrega might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jardel Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juvenal Nóbrega ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Isac Mota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jardel Coelho was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Brandão got free with Jardel Coelho in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Horácio Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Nóbrega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jardel Coelho made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho do Nascimento came free, but Marcos Mourão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jardel Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jardel Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juvenal Nóbrega went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jr Familia Campos FC's goalkeeper Jardel Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, Jr Familia Campos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Juvenal Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isac Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jardel Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Isac Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Coelho having to interfere.
