After some careless play in the Jr Familia Campos FC defense, Isac Mota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jardel Coelho. The Jr Familia Campos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jardel Coelho should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the game, Reginaldo Figueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jr Familia Campos FC the free kick. Walmir Moreno made a great header on Jr Familia Campos FC's corner, it was just that Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Marcos Mourão managed to reach the ball for a save. Juvenal Nóbrega showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Jr Familia Campos FC's zone, Isac Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jardel Coelho came out of the goal and Isac Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, one of Jr Familia Campos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jr Familia Campos FC. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Juvenal Nóbrega got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jardel Coelho. When the final whistle sounded Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jr Familia Campos FC.
