The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Radomil Smolarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Gomesano in the 3rd minute of the match. The De Boedo Vengo fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when De Boedo Vengo's Amadeo Gomesano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, FC Zarzyk's Radomil Smolarek got control of the ball when Victoriano Ibañez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Wojciech Czysta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Atilano Tab was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Boedo Vengo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Zarzyk the free kick. Radomil Smolarek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Bartoleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored De Boedo Vengo's protests and gave Lázaro Turi a yellow card for diving instead. The De Boedo Vengo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
