In the 5th minute Nicasio Bartoleme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalbador Gamiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when GreenUnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Solarriba didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nicasio Bartoleme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Macario Runs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zarbonin Sotuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, De Boedo Vengo's Lázaro Turi got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes, GreenUnited's Lop Ramallal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cayetano Esdras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GreenUnited reached it. Gartzen Pons charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gartzen Pons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Gartzen Pons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Amadeo Gomesano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xalbador Gamiz. GreenUnited's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Gomesano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Victoriano Ibañez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of GreenUnited's Xalbador Gamiz. Xalbador Gamiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xalbador Gamiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Ibañez in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Zarbonin Sotuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Nicasio Bartoleme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalbador Gamiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Santo Patrido. GreenUnited's Lop Ramallal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cayetano Esdras but with some difficulty. Xalbador Gamiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Bartoleme in the 42nd minute of play. De Boedo Vengo's Cayetano Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lop Ramallal in the 46th minute of play. After the first half De Boedo Vengo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zarbonin Sotuela made a kick off. In the 64th match minute, GreenUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Solarriba to maneuver through the defense. Xalbador Gamiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Cayetano Esdras came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by GreenUnited's Zarbonin Sotuela. But to his dismay, Zarbonin Sotuela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. During the 74th minute of the match Gartzen Pons completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gartzen Pons a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gartzen Pons hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match, Nicasio Bartoleme tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Xalbador Gamiz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Xalbador Gamiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Bartoleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Bartoleme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xalbador Gamiz having to make a save. Domenico Solarriba hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Victoriano Ibañez scored 1-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xalbador Gamiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Bartoleme in the 93rd minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Xalbador Gamiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Ibañez in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xalbador Gamiz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The GreenUnited supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching De Boedo Vengo's performance. The match ended with a win for De Boedo Vengo.
