After 2 played minutes Sporting Royal got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Geolgău. 14 minutes into the match, Sporting Royal's goal looked a bit too open when Jano de Toledo came free, but Panait Emilianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Unidade Pinto Louco's Jano de Toledo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Adelino Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A hard shot by Adam Novac from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Dalmo Félix's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sporting Royal's Panait Emilianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Domingues in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Felix Stolniciu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dalmo Félix. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Unidade Pinto Louco's zone, Isac Flamaropol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmo Félix came out of the goal and Isac Flamaropol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Stolniciu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes Sporting Royal got a freekick which was hit by Paul Rainea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Barbosa in the 43rd minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Panait Emilianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panait Emilianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Domingues in the 47th minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Panait Emilianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Stolniciu to strike the kick off in the second half. Adam Novac shot a long shot in the 53rd minute and a light blocked Dalmo Félix hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-0. In the 57th minute, Paul Rainea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sporting Royal made a substitution. Pavel Râznicu replaced Mihăiţă Beniuc. Dalmo Félix was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. If Edgard Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sporting Royal's Costin Tănăsocă was substituted for Claudiu Geolgău. In a very dangerous position, a player in Unidade Pinto Louco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! In the 82nd minute, Grigore Pacurar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Royal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. In the 92nd match minute, Unidade Pinto Louco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Rossi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sporting Royal booed when Unidade Pinto Louco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Felix Stolniciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unidade Pinto Louco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
