Felippe Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Pieng in the 25th minute of the match. Chute de Ouro FC's attentive Dalmo Veloso managed to snatch the ball when Zak Choy made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Nagrand's Faizal Sim ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felippe Maranhense. Felippe Maranhense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alam Dyce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eriberto Sanches to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nagrand's Zak Choy got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Eriberto Sanches kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alam Dyce. That made the score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Capixaba in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alam Dyce saved Nagrand from getting behind. Durval Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alam Dyce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmo Veloso hit a great ball. Felippe Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faizal Sim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Chute de Ouro FC defense, Alam Ning kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felippe Maranhense. The Chute de Ouro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felippe Maranhense should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Dale Hee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes Chute de Ouro FC got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Novaes. 88 minutes into the game, Firdauz Nair cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Felippe Maranhense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 91 played minutes Nagrand got a freekick which was hit by Zak Choy. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Sanches in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alam Dyce saved Nagrand from getting behind. Durval Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Nagrand walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
