The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Delfim Neiva put in a rough tackle. 27 minutes into the game, one of Agro Imortal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 36 minutes into the game, Mathias Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chute de Ouro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agro Imortal the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Chute de Ouro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Lopez to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Jeremias Freire made the kick off in the second half. Agro Imortal's José Pedro Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chute de Ouro FC's Felippe Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Silva in the 75th minute of play. Felippe Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Vitório Marques sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute of the match Agro Imortal got a corner. Chute de Ouro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hernani Batista ran over to the corner to take the kick. Agro Imortal's Hernani Batista was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Felippe Maranhense in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Chute de Ouro FC's Felippe Maranhense got control of the ball when Vitório Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Agro Imortal's Roger Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felippe Maranhense. That made the score 1-2 after 86 minutes of play. Felippe Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Silva in the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match, Rui Dionísio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felippe Maranhense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arnaldo Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Capixaba in the 96th minute of the match.
