The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Reac Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Luís Fernando Melo hit a great ball. Luís Gustavo de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Arnoldo Salamon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Madureira made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Jonas Ticho sent off a good shot on target. Arnoldo Salamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Mandrak in the 21st minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Reac Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Melo to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Cesar Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gelp 22's Zacarias Laffitte managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nelsinho Velasco in the 37 minute of the game. Francisco Orlondo charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Orlondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonas Ticho's late challenge caught a Reac Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Ticho helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Reac Futebol Clube booed when Gelp 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Ticho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, one of Reac Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Reac Futebol Clube:s Hortêncio Madureira showed great skill when he stopped Zacarias Laffitte:s penalty. After some careless play in the Reac Futebol Clube defense, Zacarias Laffitte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hortêncio Madureira. The Reac Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hortêncio Madureira should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Fernando Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Gustavo de Souza got free with Arnoldo Salamon in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Pirani got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rodrigo Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Zacarias Laffitte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hortêncio Madureira. Reac Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Reac Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gerson Abreu in the 73rd minute. The corner ended in Gerson Abreu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gelp 22's Arnoldo Salamon did a great save. After 74 played minutes Gelp 22 got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Criston. Amílton Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Reac Futebol Clube's Luís Fernando Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnoldo Salamon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Hortêncio Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Ticho in the 83rd minute of play. Hortêncio Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Ticho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Jonas Ticho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Gelp 22's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Melo came free, but Arnoldo Salamon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Ticho took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hortêncio Madureira. Hortêncio Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gelp 22 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Reac Futebol Clube for a fine match.
