Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Faizal Sim kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Eutor in the 6th minute of play forced Nagrand's goalkeeper Alam Dyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Expresso Ranelagh defense, Firdauz Nair kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Seber. The Expresso Ranelagh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Seber should have stopped the shot. Leandro Burni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Alam Dyce made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Nagrand's zone, Raimundo Iruinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alam Dyce came out of the goal and Raimundo Iruinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute of the match, Bruno Cordarin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alam Dyce was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 27th minute, Faizal Sim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Nagrand's goalkeeper Alam Dyce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Cordarin. The crowd rose to their feet as Expresso Ranelagh's Cirilo Fraco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alam Dyce. That made the score 2-1 after 32 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Eutor in the 42nd minute of play forced Nagrand's goalkeeper Alam Dyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

52 minutes into the game, Expresso Ranelagh's Bruno Cordarin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alam Dyce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faizal Sim in the 56th minute of play forced Expresso Ranelagh's goalkeeper Evelio Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Expresso Ranelagh's Evelio Seber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alam Ning in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Burni in the 60th minute of play forced Nagrand's goalkeeper Alam Dyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alam Dyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Eutor in the 61st minute of play. Nagrand were furious when Afiz Hee was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 62nd minute, one of Nagrand:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nagrand. In the 66th minute Cirilo Fraco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alam Dyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Expresso Ranelagh booed when Nagrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faiz Seah didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Nagrand's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Cordarin came free, but Alam Dyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Raimundo Iruinea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alam Dyce. Nagrand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Iruinea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Celedonio Ferman's late challenge caught a Nagrand's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Ferman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, Expresso Ranelagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Ferman to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Ulises Cebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Expresso Ranelagh got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Shepherd. Alam Dyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Cordarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Cordarin took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alam Dyce. Alam Dyce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Nagrand's Alam Dyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Fraco in the 99th minute of play. Nagrand's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
