The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dexter Morgan VR46's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ąžuolas Laucius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Lithuanian amber's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Bobbio came free, but Ąžuolas Laucius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sammartino in the 9th minute of play forced Lithuanian amber's goalkeeper Ąžuolas Laucius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Alvaro Borel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dexter Morgan VR46 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the Lithuanian amber defense, Alvaro Borel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ąžuolas Laucius. The Lithuanian amber fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ąžuolas Laucius should have stopped the shot. Ąžuolas Laucius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Borel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ąžuolas Laucius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Carbonetti in the 24th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Valdas Ignatavičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Dexter Morgan VR46's Fortunato Brandolini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ąžuolas Laucius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After the first half Dexter Morgan VR46 were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Borel was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Franco Bobbio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ąžuolas Laucius. Franco Bobbio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 59th minute, Dexter Morgan VR46's Frank Sammartino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Ąžuolas Laucius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sammartino in the 65th minute of play. When Lithuanian amber's Ąžuolas Dališanskis in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dexter Morgan VR46's goalie prevented a goal. Ąžuolas Laucius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Borel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Franco Bobbio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ąžuolas Laucius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lithuanian amber's Benas Dokšas got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the Lithuanian amber defense, Alvaro Borel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ąžuolas Laucius. The Lithuanian amber fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ąžuolas Laucius should have stopped the shot. Valdas Ignatavičius kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match, Franco Bobbio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ąžuolas Laucius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Dexter Morgan VR46 getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Achille Carbonetti hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Aras Nutautas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Pozzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes, Lithuanian amber's Vytautas Alsys shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beppe Pozzo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lithuanian amber reached it. When the final whistle sounded Dexter Morgan VR46 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lithuanian amber.
