Augusto Weidt's late challenge caught a Lithuanian amber's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Weidt helped the player get up and apologised. Augusto Weidt kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Lithuanian amber booed when Grêmio Papão de WC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Lithuanian amber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vytautas Alsys to maneuver through the defense. Luís Gustavo Sousa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Grêmio Papão de WC made a substitution. Naldo Soeiro replaced Norberto Quadros. Grêmio Papão de WC's Dráuzio Queiroz was substituted for Eduardo Miranda. Grêmio Papão de WC's José Pedro Novaes was substituted for Alberto Barros. After 31 minutes of play, Grêmio Papão de WC's José Pedro Novaes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kipras Gelžinis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Moisés da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Ąžuolas Dališanskis put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Moisés da Silveira. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Papão de WC's zone, Rapolas Norkūnas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés da Silveira came out of the goal and Rapolas Norkūnas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Pedro Novaes made a kick off. Moisés da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kipras Gelžinis in the 58th minute of play. Moisés da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kipras Gelžinis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute.
