After having played for 3 minutes, Edy Cabanis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATE AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edy Cabanis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to ATE AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nicolas Zapata hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Fleming Benton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Garikoitz was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Edy Cabanis hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Clark Connolly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Garikoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Melbourne 007 booed when ATE AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Zapata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jasmine Kuch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st match minute, Melbourne 007 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryce Trims to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Melbourne 007 defense, Edy Cabanis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasmine Kuch. The Melbourne 007 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasmine Kuch should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 57 minutes of play, Melbourne 007's Clark Connolly made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Garikoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Connolly in the 76th minute of play forced ATE AFC's goalkeeper Higinio Garikoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes ATE AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edy Cabanis. 81 minutes into the match, Clark Connolly notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of ATE AFC's Higinio Garikoitz. Higinio Garikoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conrado Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasmine Kuch having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Melbourne 007! The goalkeeper, Jasmine Kuch, was totally fooled by ATE AFC's Genaro Abad, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 97th minute, Fleming Benton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Garikoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. When the referee ended the match the Melbourne 007 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
