Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ryan Atkin got the match started through his kick off. Jasmine Kuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Melbourne 007's goalkeeper Jasmine Kuch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Alberto Kiepski. Jasmine Kuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Cwojdak in the 9th minute of play. FC Devils's Luis Alberto Kiepski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jasmine Kuch in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 10 minutes into the match, Franciszek Treppa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jasmine Kuch. Melbourne 007's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franciszek Treppa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Emílio Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jasmine Kuch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Melbourne 007's goalkeeper Jasmine Kuch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Alberto Kiepski. After 18 played minutes FC Devils got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Sawicki. In the 19th minute of the match Bryce Trims shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kajetan Soroka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abbott Howard scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kajetan Soroka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kajetan Soroka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brook Yard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kane Kennewell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Kajetan Soroka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Devils's Kajetan Soroka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Atkin in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Brook Yard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Soroka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Soroka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brook Yard went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Kajetan Soroka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brook Yard in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute Brook Yard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Soroka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Ryan Atkin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kajetan Soroka. FC Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryan Atkin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brook Yard in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kajetan Soroka saved FC Devils from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, FC Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Kane Kennewell came free, but Kajetan Soroka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Melbourne 007 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Jasmine Kuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd match minute, FC Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Kanczuszewski to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Abbott Howard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melbourne 007's supporters rose to their feet, but Abbott Howard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kajetan Soroka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cezary Bara kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Clark Connolly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Soroka having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Cwojdak in the 83rd minute of play forced Melbourne 007's goalkeeper Jasmine Kuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Julian Kanczuszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bryce Trims came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Melbourne 007 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryce Trims couldn't finish the play. After 98 minutes, Ryan Atkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melbourne 007 and the FC Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Devils made a substitution. Tomasz Zuraw replaced Cezary Bara. The supporters of FC Devils booed when Melbourne 007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Atkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Melbourne 007 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
