Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl-Michael Åhlberg started the match with the kick off. Leonides Isadore's late challenge caught a Billesholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Isadore helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ATE AFC's Leonides Isadore got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, ATE AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Åhlberg came free, but Higinio Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Karl-Michael Åhlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Garikoitz. ATE AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Michael Åhlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mark Holmgren succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The audience was convinced that Mark Holmgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Garikoitz was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Adrian Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Higinio Garikoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Stig-Ove Odman fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Billesholm's protests and gave Stig-Ove Odman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Billesholm's Stig-Ove Odman got a free kick in the 24th minute. ATE AFC's Higinio Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Bergqvist in the 34th minute of play. After 36th play minutes Adrian Bergqvist shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Higinio Garikoitz and just under the crossbar into goal. Hugo Kalfhage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Garikoitz having to interfere. After the first half Billesholm were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Librić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrian Bergqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Higinio Garikoitz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 65th minute Nicolas Zapata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Åhlberg in the 71st minute of play. John Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edy Cabanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ATE AFC's Higinio Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Åhlberg in the 74th minute of play. Higinio Garikoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Alonso hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Michel Törnblom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Billesholm's Karl-Michael Åhlberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Higinio Garikoitz. Higinio Garikoitz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Karl-Michael Åhlberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Higinio Garikoitz to make any attempt to save it. In the 90th match minute, Billesholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Kalfhage to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Billesholm's Karl-Michael Åhlberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Billesholm's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
