John Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Florin in the 15th minute of play. Victor Chago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but John Askelöf made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Billesholm's Michel Törnblom got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Haroldo Atarrabi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvarado de Mar del Plata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 27 played minutes Alvarado de Mar del Plata got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Abancens. In the 31st minute, Gaston Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Michael Åhlberg to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Michel Törnblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Victor Chago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Billesholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John Askelöf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Atarrabi went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. John Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Abancens, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Victor Chago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. John Askelöf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute Haroldo Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Michael Åhlberg in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Mark saved Alvarado de Mar del Plata from getting behind.
